A Musical Dialogue with Isaac Dorio and Matthew Johnson

6:30-8:00 PM

Nina Iser Jewish Cultural Center

$18 pp, students and teachers are free

Collier County Public Schools alumni Isaac Dorio (GCHS '22) and Matthew Johnson (GCHS '21) invite you to an inspiring and interactive musical experience! Featuring works for piano and saxophone by influential American composers such as Aaron Copland and Frederic Rzewski, this performance explores the rich landscape of American art music. Through a unique musical dialogue, the program draws connections between the music, the composers, and pivotal moments in American history.

All ages are welcome—and encouraged—to participate in the conversation!

Isaac is currently studying music and anthropology at Cornell University, and Matthew is pursuing a degree in saxophone performance at Florida Gulf Coast University. United by a shared passion for community and musical storytelling, they aim to make classical music accessible, engaging, and relevant for audiences of all backgrounds.

A proud graduate of Temple Shalom Preschool, Isaac is especially excited to return to perform at the Jewish Federation—an integral part of his early childhood. Both Isaac and Matthew are grateful for your support as they continue to grow as artists and performers.
