Abe Silverstein, a top NASA engineer and manager who had a home in Cape Coral. During his tenure in that position, he was responsible for planning the Mercury, Gemini & Apollo programs. He got US to the Moon, founded a Synagogue in Cleveland and spear-headed the Soviet Jewry Movement, which saved thousands of Soviet Jews.
