BeAware Training & Event Security Guide Webinar

Join us for BeAware, SCN's Introduction to Situational Awareness Course, and our Event Planning Guides overview. This session covers the fundamentals of situational awareness and how to recognize suspicious or potentially dangerous behavior. You will also learn how to respond effectively to potential emergencies in synagogue, at school, or out in the community. No prior security experience is required.

To kick off the session, we will introduce two new guides developed by SCN and our network partners: the Community Guide for Event Planning and the Security Professional’s Guide for Event Planning. The webinar will provide a brief overview of these new resources and detail how they can be applied in your community.

About the Secure Community Network

The Secure Community Network (SCN), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, is the official homeland security and safety initiative of the organized Jewish community in North America. Through its operations center and Duty Desk, SCN provides timely, credible threat and incident information to both law enforcement and community partners, serves as the community’s formal liaison with federal law enforcement and coordinates closely with state and local law enforcement partners.
