Help our greater Naples Jewish community fight anti-Semitism – and build bridges - by sharing the light of Shabbat in your home.

Through Shine a Light Shabbat, we invite you to host your non-Jewish friends, neighbors, or colleagues in your home for a Shabbat dinner on Friday, March 19, 2027.

Federation will provide you with Shabbat booklets, grape juice, challah and a discussion guide for guided conversations. You provide the spirit of Shabbat, dinner of your choice (whatever you would like to order or prepare is entirely up to you), and the conversation.

Your guests walk away with a beautiful imprint of Jews and Judaism, an enhanced sense of community, and greater array of tools to help us fight antisemitism.

Who should I invite? As with the menu, the guest list is entirely up to you. We recommend inviting an equal number of non-Jewish guests as Jewish hosts – and if you want to co-host with another Jewish community member, please do so.
